The Adullam House, in Wetumpka, Alabama, is home to 31 children ranging from newborn to twelve years old. These children are provided room, board, and an education while their mothers serve out their prison sentences in a local women’s correctional facility. Without this private non-profit Christian organization, these children would have no place to go.
Due to growing demand and lack of space, this new home is being built to hold an additional 20+ children. Thanks to your support, GPC Missions was able to donate all of the wall insulation for this structure.
This is Josh Hellums looking over some of the progress being made on the interior construction. Josh and his wife, Naomi, have been working with Adullam for over a decade now. The construction is being done by Adullam House staff, local volunteers and an awesome mission group from Time Square Church in New York. As you can see, the insulation work is almost done and the sheet rock work has begun.
Here I am with Enrica and Keila. They, and many other workers seen in these pictures, are from the Times Square Church and have been helping at Adullam House for several months.
After a hot Alabama morning, these New York “angels of mercy” are enjoying a lunch with some of the Adullam children.
In addition to school aged children, the Adullam House has also been home to many infants over the years. Presently there are three babies including this brand new precious “preemie” born to an inmate the week
before this photo was taken.
Thank You for your support for this mission. Because of the GPC Missions family and our partnership with other believers, even more children like this one will have a chance to find the peace and love of the Lord.
