Keisha Guillon, her 6 year old daughter Niolivia, and her baby boy, little Jay have recently found themselves homeless. Last year, Keisha’s mother passed away and just a few days ago, her grandmother (who was their caretaker and a beloved woman in the community) passed away as well. Keisha and her children have been evicted and are currently homeless. Keisha is a strong person and has landed a job at a factory, but needs help getting back on her feet.
THE PLAN
Rick Jenkins, GPC’s Area Director in Statesboro, NC has worked diligently to help us craft a plan to provide Keisha and her beautiful children peace during this very tough time. GPC will put Keisha and her kids in a local hotel for one week and purchase a groceries for them as well. We would like to thank the Statesboro Economy Inn and Food Lion for partnering with GPC in this mission. Next week, be sure to visit our Missions page for updates and pictures on this mission. Oh, and Keisha has already mentioned she intends to pay it forward! That’s the power of God’s love…
