THE MISSION

Over the weekend, Lavena Masson’s worst nightmare came true. There was a fire in her apartment complex, and this single mother of two, lost all of her family’s belongings. The fire was so bad, Lavena and her two small children had to escape from their bedroom window, as the fire was too strong to escape from the hallway. Currently Lavena and her two children are living in a small room at her mother’s house. They are being put in another apartment soon, but are in need of things that they lost as a result of the fire.

THE PLAN

GPC Missions plans to raise funds to help provide Lavena and her family with the items that were lost during the fire. Some of these include:

Bedroom: a bed for herself and each of the kids, sheets, blankets, dressers
Kitchen: food, dishes, dish drainer, silverware, dish towels, etc.
Bathroom items: towels, curtains, rugs, etc.
Clothing: boy’s 3T, woman’s shirts and shoes

THE NEED
