GPC Missions had an amazing day at the Prattville Chick-fil-A, where a friend of GPC, CFA owner Daniel Grier, gave a free combo for donations of diaper packages. Over the course of the day, 85 packages were donated!

Daniel and I had the privilege of hand-delivering the truckload of diapers to Temporary Emergency Services, a local organization providing needed supplies to families devastated by the tornadoes of April 2011 in the Southeast.

Some of the families they serve lost everything in the storms – from homes and possessions to family and friends. Driving through the storm’s path of destruction was a humbling experience for both of us, and the glaring reality of the needs of so many in our world reinforced the need for what we at GPC are doing.

We want to give a special thanks to all the wonderful people who helped the GPC family GIVE a little PEACE to some needy CHILDREN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Mission completed.
