Mobile Area Director, Dave Williams, was contacted by a newly formed charitable organization called Serving Our Sisters, Inc. (SOS). They had three families in need. In all of these families, the mothers and children have been abandoned by the fathers, having nearly all financial support taken from them. All of the mothers were afraid to pursue legal action out of fear of retribution by the husband.

Dave, and GPC Missions, partnered with SOS to help provide emotional support and financial support for meals. Each family was presented with a Walmart giftcard to help with a holiday meal as well as passes to Bellingrath Gardens for the families to view the Christmas lights and displays.

In addition, SOS provided ALL of the Christmas presents that the children asked for on a wish list.

Officially, this mission has been completed, however, Dave will continue to assist SOS with certain needs, such as clothing and food items to be collected in a future food drive. The gifts presented by GPC to these families helps to make this particular Christmas a happy one that the children will remember.
