On November 16th we brought to you the story of Haley Manthe, a sweet baby girl born in July 2011. Haley, the youngest of 4 children, was diagnosed with a heart condition just hours after her birth. She has since been diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis and Turner’s Syndrome, a genetic disorder. We asked for your help in providing Haley’s family with basic needs such as medical supplies, diapers and wipes, and food for the whole family.

Because of your generous donations, we were able to provide the Manthe family with a gas card to help with their travels to doctor appointments and hospital stays in Kansas City, a gift card to Wal-Mart to help out with food and a gift card to Walgreens to help with medical supplies. We also were able to give them a couple of cases of diapers and wipes as well as a few pieces of warm winter clothing for Haley.

The family was blessed by having Haley come home on Christmas Eve. They were able to spend Christmas at home as a family after being in the hospital for the last month (not counting the hospital stays prior to that). They have an appointment back in KC in a couple weeks to discuss Haley’s next surgery, but for now the family is enjoying some much needed family time at home.

Please continue to keep precious Haley and her family in your prayers.
